Since its inauguration in 1984 the firm has been engaged by major clients within the racing and equestrian industries to masterplan and design facilities worldwide. Its young, energetic team of qualified architects have enthusiastically demonstrated their ability to produce design solutions within site, time and budget constraints. They use state-of-the-art computer modelling techniques that enable clients to visualise their projects and fully understand the design process.
The firm as part of a consortium was selected from 40 contenders to design, document and provide construction supervision for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Equestrian Venue and the international recognition that flowed from this project has brought invitations to provide consultancy services in Hong Kong, Athens, China and the Middle East.
More recently Timothy Court & Company has been engaged by the Hong Kong Jockey Club to lead the consultancy team in the masterplanning and design of the venue for the:2008 Olympic Equestrian Venue in Hong Kong (AUD$120M). The firm’s vast experience has allowed a seamless integration of the Olympic venue into the on-going operation of one of the world's great thoroughbred racing establishments.
Managing director, Timothy Court, is closely involved in all projects. His extensive knowledge of the specialised requirements of the racing and equestrian industries has ensured succeful projects of all scales. His hands-on experience running of a large equestrian centre translates to a design solution that is functionally and economically viable, horse and people friendly. | |
